Sawad is the neighbourhood’s Indian restaurant. Authentic and far from the trendy crowd, it first set up shop on the Esplanade Saint Roch to cater to office workers at lunchtime. They now return in the evenings, in groups or with their families, drawn by the warm welcome and the quality of the food. The owner is a Manchester United fan and follows the team on their away trips.
