Gülsün Karamustafa is a Turkish visual artist, considered to be one of the most important and influential artists of the second half of the 20th century in Turkey. Her work - in painting, video and performance - is a manifesto of resistance and political poetics that questions Turkey's modernisation as much as gender, cultural differences, migration and uprooting.
His exhibition Hollow and Broken: A State of the World can be seen at La Loge (Ixelles) until 6 April 2025.
