This month, Radio OhKaai is launching a series of programmes to mark the opening of Kanal-Centre Pompidou, which is due to take place this coming November. These programmes will focus on the theme of the right to the city. Because, whilst we’ve talked a lot about the North District, from today onwards – and still starting from and in partnership with the North District – we want to talk to you about Brussels as a whole.
When it comes down to it, what is Brussels, and who is it? What makes up Brussels? Who shapes it and tells its story? How do those who live there experience it? What is their daily life like? To begin answering these questions, we set up our microphones at De Harmonie*, a service centre and restaurant on the edge of the North District. Its users told us about THEIR Brussels.
