This month, and for the next two months, Radio OhKaai is teaming up with Variétés. Variétés is the new cultural venue from Bruxelles Laïque, which is set to open shortly in the former Variétés cinema, just a stone’s throw from the Quartier Nord. Before moving into their new premises, which are currently undergoing renovation, they are organising themed weekends at various venues – a sort of travelling season, if you like.
Then, on Sunday, we set up our mobile studio in the middle of the Recyclart courtyard. So this Saturday’s programme is a recording of that live broadcast. We look forward to seeing you next weekend, of course. On the weekend of 23–24 May, we’ll be at Train Word in Schaerbeek. The theme for the weekend will be maps, borders and territories. And finally, on 19 and 20 June, we’ll be at Le Poche in the Bois de la Cambre for a whole weekend dedicated to Utopias. All the information can be found on the Variétés website, le-variétés.be.
