This summer, the City of Brussels organised a travelling exhibition to celebrate three decades of 'Contrat de quartier', urban renewal initiatives aimed at revitalising certain districts and/or thoroughfares in Brussels.
To mark the occasion, we caught up with some of the local residents around Place Bockstael on a sunny Sunday. You can also read the interview with Arnaud Pinxteren (alderman for Early Childhood, Citizen Participation and Urban Renewal at the City of Brussels) and François Lefebvre (head of the Brussels Participation department) to find out more about the various municipal urban renewal and citizen participation initiatives.
